Regional Sales Representative -Govern Suite

MS Govern is looking for two top performing sales representatives / closers to join our growing business. Experience with Government Software sales is a MUST.

The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in an assigned territory or market. Achieving maximum sales in line with MS Govern's objectives is a top priority. A well-defined territory sales plan and strategy must be established and executed. Maintain a realistic "sales funnel" and ensure regular monitoring, assessment and execution.

An excellent opportunity for a technically competent individual who enjoys travel, technology and meeting people.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in government software sales.
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions to government agencies.
  • Extensive experience in CAMA & TAX markets.
  • Experience in Land Management and Sales Tax markets.
  • Experience in developing and successfully executing focused sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast and meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenues.

.Net Developer -Govern Suite

MS Govern is seeking a flexible, self-motivated team player to join the .Net Development team in our Montreal, QC office. Under the supervision of the Director of R&D CMS, you will contribute to the product development effort related to our implementation projects. From time to time you will participate in the design and analysis of our customer's business needs. You must be fluent in both English and French.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise scale .NET applications.
  • Expertise with the .NET Framework 3.5 or 4.0 using the VB.Net or C# programming language.
  • Must have expertise in developing moderate to complex SQL in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • Experience with WPF, WCF and TFS is beneficial.
  • You hold a degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience communicating directly with customers is beneficial.
  • Fluency in both French & English is required.

Application Consultant - Innoprise Suite

MS Govern is seeking talented, motivated individuals to implement our innovative solutions for local government. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects. We are expanding our Professional Services team to include a total of four positions in the following areas of business acumen:

Application Consultants are part of an implementation team with responsibilities including overall project management, analysis of business practices, creation of project deliverables, training and project resource coordination. Our Application Consultants work closely with our Technical Specialists as well as our Development team to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years software consulting, Implementation or project management experience within the relevant business acumen required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or Information Systems.
  • Business Process Design and Re-engineering training and relevant experience.
  • Strong presentation skills and executive presence. Comfortable leading a group through discovery workshops 
and training sessions. Ability to manage and shape customer expectations.
  • Skill in abstracting complex business processes into clear and concise representations.

Java Developer - Innoprise Suite

MS Govern is seeking a Java Developer for our Innoprise Suite. This position would be remote or located in our Broomfield, CO office.  

As a Java Software Engineer, you would be assigned to work on existing and new products. Responsibilities include individual and team programming, debugging and documentation. Some interaction with customers, either via phone or email, may also occur. This is a full time position with benefits, including a generous vacation policy, and health, dental, life and disability insurance. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Java 
  • Recent J2EE experience (JPA, EJBs, MDBs, Servlets, JSPs)
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL queries, and experience with MS SQL, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Experience with XML and XSLT 
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferable 
  • Strong grasp of Object-Oriented design and development 
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (eg jUnit)
  • Experience on both Windows and Linux, and respective platform shell scripting 
  • Comfortable and productive in team and individual roles 
  • Comfortable with customer contact and support 
  • Strong English language verbal and written communication skills

Software Trainer/Implementation Specialist - CityView Suite

MS Govern is seeking two Software Trainers/Implementation Specialists for our CityView Suite. These positions would be located in our Victoria, BC office.  

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to complement our training and implementation team. You must be capable of delivering all existing and future course content and materials for our flagship community development suite, CityView. You will be taking an active role in identifying and documenting customer requirements and configuring the software to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved. You will interact with our clients on-site, on-line and over the phone so you have excellent communication skills, are positive and energetic.

The position requires being away from the office an average of two weeks each month, training at various sites across North America. Some weekend travel is also required. An enthusiastic, team oriented individual, you are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, have a knack for details and thrive on working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with local government is an asset.
